Internship

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager for hands-on experience in the cleantech sector? Clean – The Danish Water and Environmental Cluster wants a driven and enthusiastic intern to join our team. If you’re currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree and looking to sharpen your skills in project management, communication, and international collaboration, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing

As an intern at Clean, you’ll have the chance to dive into a range of exciting tasks and projects, including:

  • Supporting knowledge-sharing sessions, such as roundtables and workshops.
  • Assisting with the development of projects, including writing grant and tender applications.
  • Helping us market Clean’s thematic activities through our website, SoMe, directs emails, articles, and newsletters.
  • Contributing to the growth of Clean’s key focus areas and membership base across the ecosystem.
  • Working with Danish and international SMEs, universities, and other partners to organize events like theme days, workshops and project activities.
  • Actively take part in national and international projects within different sectors.

Team Collaboration

You’ll work closely with project managers and colleagues across Clean’s different activities at both national and global scales. This is a unique opportunity to get involved and establish a network within the cleantech ecosystem.

Who you are

We imagine you’re someone who:  

    • Has a keen interest in the environment and cleantech sectors.
    • Is a motivated team player with strong personal drive and the ability to work independently.
    • Communicates fluently in both English and Danish (preferred).
    • Is available for a full-time internship (up to 37 hours per week or by further agreement). 3-6 months minimum.
    • Is excited to take on diverse tasks and learn from various projects.

What you can expect

At Clean, you’ll join a dynamic, internationally oriented-organization where no two days are the same. You’ll gain valuable project management experience, a deep understanding of cleantech clusters, and the chance to build a strong professional network across our ecosystem. The internship will typically last 4-6 months, with a flexible schedule of up to 37 hours a week, depending on your study commitments.
