Water Valley Innovation Lab opens its doors

Water Valley Crops Water Technology

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in water technology now have a unique opportunity to strengthen their competitiveness and contribute to the green transition. Water Valley Innovation Labs, part of the Business Lighthouse for Water Technology, offers specialized innovation pathways to help companies develop and test new solutions.

Innovation pathways with expert help

Water Valley Innovation Labs offers a range of labs. There companies can access experts, innovation networks, customized sparring and unique testing environments. Labs include:

  • Knowledge and Innovation Lab: Collaborate with researchers from DTU and Aarhus University to develop innovative solutions.
  • Future Solutions Lab: Boost product development through collaboration with national and international actors.
  • Water Living Lab: Test and demonstrate new solutions in collaboration with utilities and other companies.
  • Water Data Space Lab: Access data and accelerate innovation through better data sharing.

How to participate

Companies wishing to participate must submit an application form and participate in an initial conversation to align expectations. Each organization should expect to spend a minimum of 250 hours during the period. Participants will receive help with formalities and be matched with relevant sparring partners.

The project is a part of Erhvervsfyrtårn for Vandteknologi and involves partners like Water Valley Denmark, Erhvervshus Midtjylland, Klimatorium, Aarhus Kommune and Clean.The project is co-financed by the European Union and Danmarks Erhvervsfremmebestyrelse.
